Discovery and adding the found hosts to a hostgroup with icmp ping works fine.
The problem is as follows. we have a large number of locations that are served where the clients receive the ipadres from a dhcp server.
We don't know how many hosts are active at each location. Now i want to scan the subnets for each location, but add only the first 5 active hosts to a hostgroup and than quit the discovery for X time.
This is because if a location as 100+ hosts, i do not care about all of them but for the average picture i want to monitor 5 each day.
Is that possible, and how do i accomplish this?
