    Cisco UCS

    Allo all

I was wondering if someone here is monitoring a Cisco UCS environment?
    Are there templates somewhere?

      I found a template here:

But when trying to import it into Zabbxi 2.2.1 it complains abount missing value maps. By any chance, does anyone have those value maps and can share them?
I also tried contacting the author directly but their contact form throws an error when trying to use it

        Workaround:
you can remove dependency on value map, change every occurrence in template xml file:
        Code:
        <valuemap>
        <name>Cisco UCS Operable state</name>
        </valuemap>
        to:
        Code:
        <valuemap/>
Or you can try to define your value mapping "Cisco UCS Operable state". Probably good resource (for UCS 2.1):

          Many thanks it works now.
If anyone else want's to use the template, here is what I did:
I removed the valuemaps before importing and created my own maps after that. If you import the template be sure to update the SNMP string with a macro or your values. It's statically set to "public" in all the items/discovery rules.
I have used the mibs from here:
          ftp://ftp.cisco.com/pub/mibs/ucs-mibs/

I am using the following value maps, they look OK to me:

          Code:
          Cisco UCS ChassisPowerOperState

          0 ⇒ unknown
          1 ⇒ ok
          2 ⇒ failed
          3 ⇒ input-failed
          4 ⇒ input-degraded
          5 ⇒ output-failed
          6 ⇒ output-degraded
          7 ⇒ redundancy-failed
          8 ⇒ redundancy-degraded

          Cisco UCS OperState

          0 ⇒ unknown
          1 ⇒ operable
          2 ⇒ inoperable
          3 ⇒ degraded
          4 ⇒ powered-off
          5 ⇒ power-problem
          6 ⇒ removed
          7 ⇒ voltage-problem
          8 ⇒ thermal-problem
          9 ⇒ performance-problem
          10 ⇒ accessibility-problem
          11 ⇒ identity-unestablishable
          12 ⇒ bios-post-timeout
          13 ⇒ disabled
          51 ⇒ fabric-conn-problem
          52 ⇒ fabric-unsupported-conn
          81 ⇒ config
          82 ⇒ equipment-problem
          83 ⇒ decomissioning
          84 ⇒ chassis-limit-exceeded
          100 ⇒ not-supported
          101 ⇒ discovery
          102 ⇒ discovery-failed
          103 ⇒ identify
          104 ⇒ post-failure
          105 ⇒ upgrade-problem
          106 ⇒ peer-comm-problem
          107 ⇒ auto-upgrade
And now I have to talk to the UCS guys about acknowledging faults

                Hello everyone,
unfortunatelly the URL in which the template was (http://www.morea.fr/en/tag/zabbix/) is no longer available.
                ¿Could anyone post it again?

How did you get this to authorize?
