Selecting the host and unlinking the template does not work. No errors. When I go back to the host it's back again. I tried both unlink and unlink and clear. Any ideas?

This is a (very) old post.... BUT we are encountering the same issue on Zabbix 5.0.41.
When I go to an host and try to unlink template (with or without "clear"), the page is reloaded, no errors is displayed and the template seems to have gone... but if I go on the host page again, I can see that the template is still there! -

I am at 6.4.10 zabbix version and that happens too, but in our case it because the host has that template associated by (linked by host discovery). Could be that what is happening with you too ?Comment

No "unremovables" templates have been setup through API.Comment

The answer is... when page is reloaded, clicking on "Update" button is required to validate!Comment
