Problem with external check which send wrong data

Hi all !

Yesterday we had a network cut betwwen our monitoring system and our servers.

We use an External Script to ping our servers.

Since this network cut the Zabbix server keep saying the server is down but when I check manually the script say me that the server ping.

As it is an external chekc I can't use zabbix_get to check.

I checked the log, but there is nothing in it. In fact for the server there is no errors.

it's really odd, we monitor more than 200 servers and it'l the only one which does that, there is something I'm missing. I can't find it.

Any idea ?

Really odd.

Zabbix server coud ping the specific server and keep saying it's offline
Manual check of the script send me the correct information.

I had the opportunity to reboot the server, so I did it. The check is now correct.
