    hi,

    I have a version 2.0 setup, with emails and gnokii sms configured. The alerts work fine for the default Admin user.

    The admin user has a group it email and my mobile number configured in the media types. The first setup i tried was to remove a mobile number from the admin user and have our mobile numbers in each of our accounts. They are all members of the zabbix administrators group. So that we'd get an email via the dist list in the admin account, and then an sms each.

    In this scenario, we get an email and it doesn't run anything after that. With media type and phone number set for sms in the admin account, we get an email and an sms to that single number.

    As a control i have set the action up to email just one of our accounts, and no actions are listed as run under the trigger and we get no alerts.

    Could anyone suggest a course of action so that an email and sms can be sent to each of us? Is there a permission or something i've missed on the account setup for this to work with extra users?

    I managed to fix my issue. it was down to permissions as i suspected. I set each new account as a 'zabbix super admin' and the actions now work fully!
