I'm currently evaluating to switch to Zabbix and I was wondering:
How does Zabbix handle Hosts that are intentionally not always online or reachable?
For example lets assume I want to monitor all Windows Desktops for SMART Problems, but they are shut down/suspended when nobody is working on them.
I don't want to see a problem poping up in my zabbix every time the machine/agent is not reachable.
If someone could elaborate on how this is manageable in zabbix, I'd appreciate it.
