Overlap images - map

Hello,

I am using the version of Zabbix 2.0 is going great!

I'm trying to create a map with pictures of rack server and getting enracables images inside. The problem is that I can not manage to arrange the overlap of the images; for example, the image of the rack should be above the image of servers, however, I can not manage it.

Anyone know how to order the images of the maps to go over some of the other and not overlap?

Hello,

The zdepth depends on the order of icon insertion into the map. Older ones are shown under recent ones.

Unfortunately, it seems there is no way (1.8) to change this during map construction.

Hi,
I'm trying to do this too - overlay icons on a map. While I'm able to overlay the icons I cannot see the text of the overlaid (host) icon.

If you can imagine it, I have a large icon which designates a group of hosts and am overlaying 4 hosts onto it. The icon overlay works but the hostname and status information is lost behind the large icon I'm using to group them. Is this something that I can address by tweaking mysql table settings?

You can try exporting the map to XML, fiddling a bit with "selementid" , import back the map...

I guess you can do the same directly in mysql ... with the XML you have a safety net at least :-)
