Poll device every second / two seconds

Hi there!
Been playing around some with Zabbix for some "custom polling".
Is there any way to get an good and reliable monitoring with 1 second intervall?

This is only temporary and will only be used a few days.

Like:
icmpping[IP,5,1,56,500]
Run that every 5 secound, will that send 5 ping every 5 second?

Hope you understand what I'm after. Then I wanna trigger if I miss only 1 ping.

Hello, I am also facing similar kind of issue where poll is getting missed from devices/nodes every 30th minute and 40th minute every hour. I am using Zabbix 4.2.4. Its very peculiar observation and happening for only some of the devices while others are working fine. Tried changing cable and switches at device level as well, nothing worked out.

it looks like the problem was with SNMP protocol. When we changed it to V2 from V3, Bingo , no more data/poll loss observed. Thnx
