Unable to convert tables

Hello, everybody!
I'm trying to convert tables to enable Distributed Monitoring. When I execute command

./zabbix_server -n 1

the process starts, but hangs very soon like this

Converting tables ......................

After I wait long enough (tried even several hours), nothing happend beyond this point.
Has anybody encountered the same mistake?

Problem solved. Just needed to wait for ~12 hours to complete convertation. Thanks everyone
