Export and import data to excel

Is it possible for me to export some data from Zabbix to Excel, create a trendline graph in Excel, since I can't do that in Zabbix, and then take that data from the treadline graph in Excel back to Zabbix and create the graph there? If this isn't possible, do you have any suggestions on getting trend predictions to work?

you can use the Zabbix API to do this: Zabbix API

An other, more cumbersome method would be to "export" a single host, and generate an XML file based on it to "Import" all your hosts... Test it on a dev system first though...
