JMX monitoring of Glassfish in 2.0

Has anybody successfully gotten JMX monitoring working with Glassfish's standard JMX port (8686) with the new java-gateway for Zabbix 2.0? I'm having trouble getting ito work and am not really sure how to tackle it. If somebody has managed to make this work, I'd love some tips!

Basically, all I'm getting from the JMX monitor at the moment is ZBX_TCP_READ() failed: [4] Interrupted System Call

Never mind, it turns out my java_gateway had crashed

It was a bit tedious having to manually add the username and password for Glassfish into every single item though, any chance of a global username/password for the jmx connector in future?

You might want to have a look at jolokia (http://www.jolokia.org) for some/all of your jmx monitoring. While the new java_gateway is nice avoiding having to use the JSR-160 interface at all is even better.
