The most obvious would be features and bugfixes. I'd like to deploy zabbix on a mix of RHEL 5/6 and Debian 6.
I was thinking to use EPEL repository for EL5/EL6. And the standard repository from Debian. EPEL for EL5 is 1.4.7, for EL6 it is 1.8.13 and for Debian 6 it is 1.8.2.
I've deployed a test setup in a few VMs and it seems to be working fine. But it is a rather limited test. Anyone got any experiences or insight they could share? Especially if it's something that shouldn't be done.
