use ping from external script in map description

hi,

i want to use the last.(0) value from a "UserParameter=pingx,ping -c3 1.2.3.4" to get a connection description in zabbix 2.0

This worked very easily in zabbix 1.8 - i just had inserted {<host>.pingx.last(0)} to get the last stored value. This seems not to work in 2.0.

How to get this fantastic feature again ? Any ideas welcome

I just tried to use an item value in a map and it works.
I have used : {Zabbix server:vfs.fs.size[/,pfree].last(0)} to display disk free space on map.

Have you tried {<host>ingx.last(0)} instead of {<host>.pingx.last(0)} (semi colon after host name) ?

sorry - my typo - have used the ":" thingy ...

... but does not work
