Template Trigger???

How do I create triggers in a template?

I tried {{HOSTNAME}:vfs.fs.size[/,free].last(0)}<10000, and {templatename:vfs.fs.size[/,free].last(0)}<10000, and I'm getting errors for both.

So I go to Trigger configuration, select Templates group, and select my template as Host. Then click on "Create Trigger" button to attemp to create a trigger for my template.

Expression: {{HOSTNAME}:vfs.fs.size[/,free].last(0)}<10000

[ERROR:Cannot add trigger]

Expression [{HOSTNAME}:vfs.fs.size[/,free].last(0)}] does not match to [server:key.func(param)]

No such host (templatename) or monitored parameter (vfs.fs.size[/,free])

AFAIK, {HOSTNAME} won't work.

You should have vfs.fs.size[/,free] monitored and active in your template, and
you should enter template name exactly as it is named in your template definition. See Host.Unix template for trigger examples.

Ah Ha! That was it. I had to have the corresponding "item" defined in the template first. Thanks!

BTW, Is there a way I can view the Items for the Host.Unix template? I can view items for the other Host.* templates that came with Zabbix but not Host.Unix. Is this a bug?

Turns out i had to increase memory in php.ini. Fixed now.
