eth0 traffic incoming or outgoing not supported

Hi I setup Zabbix 1.1 beta 9 and everything seems to works except that I need the incoming and outgoing traffic of my Ubuntu server

on the template for the netloadin and netloadout it says not supported. I tried the net.if.in for the manual (in web GUI) but it says not supported again.

how to I do to make Zabbix get data for my eth0??

        they are working for me.

        try using:

        net.if.in[eth0,bytes]

        and check out:

        http://www.zabbix.com/manual/v1.1/config_items.php

        for the variables

The templates are wrong. You'll need to cross reference the items defined in the templates (those Not Supported) and change them to match the docs or delete them.

            Just one more small question.
There are items with key netloadxx for traffic monitoring. Are these items useless?
            1. If yes I will delete them and create new with key net.if.xx.
            2. IF no I will leave the netloadxx keys there and create new with key net.if.xx.

              Incredible.

Fresh install and store values on Templates are ITEMS that not' work?

Think that it's proper on Beta o Alpha versions. Not on stable or production.

This is a 1.1 version of a new open source tool, give them a break ( and contribute your own updated templates). Yes, the templates should be changed, but its easy to make your own. After three weeks of using this tool, we love it here.
