Zabbix Sender - Some n00b questions

Hey guys,

I found this version made for Windows of Zabbix Sender:

1) Does anyone know if it still works with Zabbix 2.x?

2) Just so I get this straight, is it just enough to create a "Zabbix Trapper" item in order to receive data from the sender? Or am I missing here something?

Hi,
While I've not tested this I would expect the answer to be yes as the zabbix transport protocol hasn't changed. And yes, you need to create trapper items to receive the inbound data.

Test it and see what happens.
