Discard Value if delta is too high?

Hi Guys (and gals),

quick question: I'm monitoring different temperature zones throughout my house with zabbix and Dallas DS18B20 Sensors... The issue I'm having is that once is a while, a "glitch" will occur when reading the temperature value from the sensor and it (the sensor) reports it as -127 degrees C.

Is there a way for zabbix to detect too big a delta between the current value and the previous one, and discard it? ie: if delta > 50 degrees, discard current value.

Hi Yannick,

did you manage to solve this? If not, I'll have to create an script (I'm using Zabbix trapper items) to discard values higher than an specified threshold.
