installing zabbix server on windows

hi, i'm new to zabbix.
i want to monitor my windows server and some network components.
can any one please let me know how to install server and agents in windows machines.

hello.. the zabbix-server works only on linux/unix machines.. the zabbix-agent works on windows!

1) You could test and try the Zabbix Appliance server before installing your own server. Zabbix Appliance is a opensuse virtuel machine running the zabbix server and an agent.
You can download ver. 2.0 here:

or ver. 1.8 here:
http://www.zabbix.com/download2.php
And run it one your desktop with e.g. the vmware player
There is a chapter in the doc regarding the appliance.
