sum of processors on different hosts

    Hi,

how I can do sth like this:

I have processes abc01, abc02 .. abc10, but they are on two hosts.
for example: 1 on hostA 9 on hostB or 5 on hostA 5 on hostB, can me different on each day for example...

The sum is 10 but how I can monitor this sum of processes on this hosts?

I try some solutions but all of them not work.

    (Zabbix 1.8)

    hi tubik,

have you tried configuring on both host all ten processes because since you dont know which host will have how many processes then I would suggest configuring on both host all ten processes.

I understand you are on 1.8, but if you were on 2.0 or later, you could do this with low level discovery:
