One Graph with many Hosts and same Item

    Hello,

Sorry if this question has already been asked.

I would like to create a synthesis graph showing the same item for several hosts.

The graph has to be not stacked as we want to follow-up the same parameter for whole servers of a group and to see any diverging behaviour.

    The Zabbix version is 2.0.0.

Am I the only one to follow up same parameter for dozens of servers on one graph ?

Should I create an improvement request ?

Just create your own graph and add in the servers/items that you want to include on that single graph.

An alternative to that, is to create a screen and insert a graph for each server.

OK, great, thanks tchjts1, I'm going to try it.

The need is really to have such graph with whole servers on the same graph and not one screen with many graphs.

          Hello,

Could you tell me where I can create simple graph with multiple servers.

From the dashboard, If want to had a simple graph, I can select one server at the same time, and cannot have the same parameter for whole servers.

          Thanks,

If you are only talking about a small amount of servers, like less than 25, then you could simply create a screen of graphs. You would do that through Configuration --> Screens.

Make a screen 2 x 12 and then put a graph in each cell for your different servers.

If you have a large amount of servers... there is no easy way to do what you are asking.

Thank you for your answer, I've already made the screeen.

I would like to know how you've made the graph in the post before? The need is this one, compare the bahaviour of approx. 20 servers which are supposed to have quite the same load.

In the previous tool (old version of PRTG), we have these graphs, it's usefull and better to put in light a server which is going it's "own way" compared to the others.

Just go to the first host of your list and click on the "graphs" link. At the next page, click on "Create graph", give the new graph a name and simply "Add" the items as needed from your various servers.

When you click on "Add", you have the option to use the dropdown boxes at the top right to select group and host that you want to get the item from for the graph.

Although the graph will be assigned to that first host where you created it, it will have the information from all the hosts where you added the item from. From there, you could just put that graph into a screen as a single graph.

                  Great, it works

I didn't thought to make the graph from one of the hosts.

                  Thank you !!!
