Error with new install

Hi All.....

Just installed a new SuSE 9.2 machine, with php 4.4.2 and mysql 5.0.21.
Everything _appears_ ok on the machine in regards to the installation.
When I try and run the zabbix_server daemon, I get the following error:

026953:20060510:154308 Starting zabbix_server. ZABBIX 1.1beta9.
026953:20060510:154308 Query::select refresh_unsupported from config
026953:20060510:154308 Query failed:Unknown column 'refresh_unsupported' in 'field list' [1054]

Trying to run this as user zabbix.
BTW....I am a noob to mysql.

can you log in to the php-frontend? does it look ok?

if not, drop database zabbix and reinstall the *.sql files...

I can get the front page up, but more errors appear.

The line in question wants to set some sort of language variable, but I can't find any other config files that want to set/use it.

Got the above error resolved.

Now I am back to not being able to run zabbix_server.

Yep.....and bounced the box. Restarted mysql and apache, and the server daemon came up.
It looks like I have some permission issues to deal with now. When I try and log into the main page, I type in my ID/pass and it does nothing.
Need to look into some logs.

Got everything working......
I made the jump from PHP4.4.2 to the latest 5 version, and things are working well at the moment.
