    Remove Favourite Graphs, Screens & Maps from Dashboard

    Hi,

    I'd like to remove the three 'favourite' items from the dashboard. I've tried by clicking on 'Remove' but nothing happens.

    How do I go about achieving this?

    Thanks

      Hi,

      Zabbix 2.0.2, IE8 and Chrome. I'm on Monitoring > Dashboard and clicking on the small drop down icon next to the icon with the two down arrows and I'm clicking on 'Remove'.

      Nothing is happening. I'm trying to get as much screen estate as possible as we want to display Zabbix on a TV screen in the corner of the office.

      Thanks

        oh. that 'remove' is for removing individual graphs, not the whole block - removing the block is not possible.

          Not even with some CSS or PHP hacking? It's a bit of a shame as it's a waste of screen space if we're not using it.

          Thank you.

              btw, i would suggest looking into network maps and/or screens for a custom display. they would work much better in most cases.

                Found a way, it's not pretty but it works for us.

                In dashboard.php hide lines 254, 257 to 261, 264 to 268 and 271 to 275.

                And on line 342 replace with:

                Code:
                $dashboardTable->addRow(array(new CDiv($leftColumn, 'column'), new CDiv($rightColumn, 'column'), new CDiv(null, 'column')), 'top');
                In default.css on line 254 replace with:

                Code:
                .column { margin: 5px 0 5px 5px; min-width: 185%; padding-bottom: 100px; }
                YMMV but dashboard.php is located in /usr/local/share/zabbix/dashboard.php
                and default.css is located in /usr/local/share/zabbix/styles/default.css
