Linux log file monitor problem

Hello,

Windows monitoring the log files, have no problem. But I could not watch the log file in linux. I wonder where I make mistakes.

Zabbix Version : 1.8.13
Linux : Centos

ActiveCheck

Linux item

log["/home/zabbix/istanbul.log","error"]

What is wrong?

Monitoring a linux machine's log ?

Hello,

I have installed Zabbix 1.8.15 version to test on my computer at home. I could get

logs belongs to a linux machine and easly it is monitored on zabbix screen.

But at my office on our real system which has hosts over than 1000 when i try to

get logs from a linux machine ,i don't receive anything.

Do you have an idea what is the problem.

What am i supposed to do ?

Not: I can monitor windows machine's logs on zabbix.
