How to draw a constant line in Graphs?

How can i make zabbix draw a constant line into a graph?
I need to show our customer when the value is to high.

Most beautiful way would be to change the graph color for example from green to yellow if the CPU load is above 1 and to red if it's above 5.
I don't think that this is possible at the moment (perhaps ths could be implemented in a next version?!).
More easy is, as i think, to draw a constant line at the specified values, so everybody can see when the values are / have been critical.
I need to draw this lines for many hosts.

Has someone an idea how to realise this with performance as good as possible?

    thx,

I like the idea. Perhaps we can "borrow" something from RRDTool:

Why don't you create an item that returns allways the warning value and put that also on your graph.

By the way, 1.1beta10 and higher will optionally show simple triggers as constant lines in graphs. I think you might be interested.

I am needing to show a line with a constant y value in created graphs. I see that the triggers show up in graphs that are generated from the latest data menu. However when i create a graph compiled from various data sources, even though I have checked the box to 'show trigger points' they aren't showing up.

I would comment that the incorporation of trigger points is a great idea, but would also appreciate being able to set various y=(n) values for created graphs for purely reference purposes.
          Thanks!

I would just create a zabbix_trapper integer item and use zabbix_sender every hour or so and send the constant.
