    Where can i find types and modes of parameters such vfs.dev.read

      For example where i can find values for fields type and mode of vfs.dev.read[device <,type> <,mode>]

          thanks for that last link. these pages really should be linked more.
          anyway, i can't get it to work.
          i've tried a parameter :
          vfs.dev.read[/dev/sda,bytes,avg1]

          i have also tried bps instead of bytes, and mount path or device name without the leading /dev/ - in all cases i get back not supported status message without futher explanations. log level 4 on agent did not reveal any additional information, too.

          is the syntax incorrect ? if so, documentation heavily needs examples...
          maybe there are particular permission/system configuration expectancies ? if so, there probably could be more informative error message.

          anybody has this parameter working ?
