Newby Needs Help

That about says it all. I have downloaded the Zabbix 2.0 Appliance VM and have it up and running. I am very impressed at how easy that was but then I ran into a problem. I failed at my first attempt to monitor a Windows 2003 server. I have the red Z in the Availability column and hovering of that gets me this:
Get value from agent failed: cannot connect to [[*Server IP Address*]:10050]: [111] Connection refused

I have read through the documentation but I am at a loss as to why this is failing.
I created a new Host Group called Windows Servers and placed this new host in here.

I'm sure it's probably something simple but I need help please.

do you install the zabbix-agent on the windows server?? and do you configure the zabbix_agentd.conf?

No and no. I will research further as I did not know I had to manually install the agent on the server.

Does anyone have a zabbix_agentd.conf file that they use for monitoring Windows 2003 and 2008 servers that you'd be willing to share?
I'm basically lazy and don't want to have to research this and edit the file.

Ooops, that link gives an example for a Unix/Linux server.

Here is a Windows example. You need to at least change the lines for Server= and Hostname= fields

Thanks again. The first link did say to remove the PID info and it should work for Windows, but I'll check this one out too.
