Zabbix - external scripts Problem

Hi,

if i set an action for an trigger and let zabbix execute an external script, that is a linux shell script, zabbix just executes the first command of that file and leaves the rest untouched?

How do i get zabbix to execute the whole sh script?

Does the script be executed on server or agent?

If executed by Zabbix agent, is it ensured that the execution time doesn't hit the configured timeout?
