hostname string change

Hi,

I changed the hostname in zabbix_agentd.conf. The frontend is reporting "Host name of zabbix_agentd was changed on .." . I've acknowledged but it is still there. How do I clear this?

I am new with zabbix. So bear with me.

Should clear on it's own. Maybe 30 minutes display time on those. I think I just read that recently.

Host name of zabbix_agent(d) issue does not disappear

Hi Forum,

yesterday I´ve changed all my LAN agents to 'active'. For this to work I had to correct DNS things and host names in the server as well as in the agent config file. So far so good, lots of triggers went up saying that host names of zabbix_agent(d)´s were changed.

Now I would like them to disappear but even after 1 1/2 hours of bein acknowledged the issues do not disappear :-(

Server is 2.2.2/mysql on Linux, Clients/Agents are Linux and Windows.....

it should get cleared with the next hostname check. so it depends on your update interval.

Good point - thank you. The interval was 1 day. I decreased it to 1 hour and hope that the issues will disappear soon

Edit: Thank you - after resetting the check interval to 1 hour the alarms disappeared within 30 mins after being acknowledged!
