Where to set an email address

Ok, so i have created a user, created an action to send an action to send a message to my user if a certain trigger occurs. That trigger is occuring right now.

However, where can i specify an email address to have that message sent to ?

There isn't an email option in the user settings, nor in the action settings.

Goto Configuration, Users, look at the right side of your screen, you'll see there a column called "Media", click on it and have fun.

ahhh right. So the SMTP address is the TO address rather than the from address.

Also, is there a way to add smtp authentication to the mail details ? My mail server needs me to log on.

I don't know if this is possible.

If you have a mailserver running on zabbix server's host, you could allow user zabbix to send mail from localhost without PW. Then define the desired mail adress in /etc/aliases...
