    Macros in {TRIGGER.COMMENT} / {TRIGGER.DESCRIPTION}

    Hi there,

    I am wondering whether macros used in trigger comments/trigger descriptions (2.0.4) should resolve.

    I am running Zabbix 2.0.3 and I cannot get *any* macro to resolve in {TRIGGER.COMMENT}.

    Thank you very much

      Sorry - I am not quite sure what you are asking about - but according to
      http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...ed_by_location
      you can only use the macro in "Notifications and commands" (Actions).
      Works fine for me in 2.0.3rc2.

        I am indeed using {TRIGGER.COMMENT} in "Notifications and commands" (Actions) which works as expected.

        The issue I am facing is that my actual trigger comment contains macros and those do not resolve.

        I have attached a screenshot of an example trigger comment that should explain what I want to do.

          Ok, now I understand. I do not think this is a supported feature - your user micro will not be resolved.

            For reference here is a list of the different macros supported by location:

            For alerts just look at the first column of checkboxes.
