Zabbix agent is not starting in the zabbix server

Hi,

I have installed Zabbix2.0 in Ubuntu. Zabbix server is running but the Zabbix agent does not get started in zabbix machine. Nothing is shown when giving the start command for zabbix agent - "sudo service zabbix-agent start"

Now the agent has started running but the latest data tab and graph show no data

The agent has now started running. But the zabbix server does not gather data from a remote host.

Same Problem, i can see the agent host as available and monitored.
But i cannot select the host agent in the dropdown.
