net.tcp.service check with ldap, always wrong

    Hey,

I try to check an ldap service. I know it's up and running but the net.tcp.service check fail always with service: ldap

    ./zabbix_get -s postregistratiepres-oe-1-mgt.mmis.be. -k "net.tcp.service[ldap,10.0.10.245,389]"
    0

But is works with the service http

    ./zabbix_get -s postregistratiepres-oe-1-mgt.mmis.be. -k "net.tcp.service[http,10.0.10.245,389]"

    When doing this on postregistratiepres-oe-1-mgt.mmis.be:

    # telnet 10.0.10.245 389
    Trying 10.0.10.245...
    Connected to 10.0.10.245.
    Escape character is '^]'.

    Any idea?

    Regards,
    Gerrit

    No errors in log file?
Error messages concerning LDAP checks are only written with DebugLevel set to 4.

Does the directory service require TLS?
