    Trigger description

I am sometimes struggling with Zabbix to create a decent one-liner on the dashboard to exactly pinpoint the problem.
I want to be as accurate as possible and make it as easy as possible for the one reading the dashboard.

For this you need to calculate seconds into minutes, minutes into hours, etc.. and think of all the dependencies to prevent useless info there.

I have some difficulty in getting results in the trigger description field and would like to know what is the most elegant way to do this.

    For example:
I have this trigger that tells me if certificate on a certain hostort is expired.
I have this in the description:

Certificate is expired on {HOST.CONN1}:443 ({ITEM.LASTVALUE1} day(s) expired)

It will give me this output

Certificate is expired on www.google.nl:443 (-2 day(s) expired)

Of course it should be 2 days instead of -2 days

I'm sure it's quite easy if it can be done.
If I see the example I will know how to do this in the future.

BTW it needs to be used in a template.
