Hi guys I would like to set up some email alerts but for these to only go out during the day, trick here is that if something happens out of hours then an email should be sent out as soon as normal business hours resume
this is how I was thinking of achieving it
have a action set up that will monitor for 24 hours
This action will send out a email
email time for users is set to normal business hours under the user profile
now for the trick
action is set up to check for only non acknowledge job
action is set to reoccur every hour
I was thinking of only setting the action to monitor during the day but if I did this I don't see anyway of providing an email to tech staff during the day as the action won’t be live during the triggering of the trigger, only afterwards.
Do you think this is the best way?
