    Graphs styles

    I'd like to change how Zabbix graphs look like. I'm talking styles. Like different background, line styles etc.

    Is there any, at least relatively simple way to create styles for Zabbix graphs?

      Well, I was told on IRC that Zabbix development team entertained this idea but they never really went any further than this. I was suggested to file a ticket, which I presume would be put on a features wish list.

      You can check out graph_theme

      Code:
      zabbixdb=> select * from graph_theme;
      and realize all the limitations.

      However, if you play with color palettes and come up with colors that work better you can get a nice graphs without much work (compared to making changes to underlying RRD or whatever):

      By the way, this is a standard Dark Orange theme, but I figure you can simply change graph_theme color codes to have only dark themed graphs with light themed interface (which is easier on the eyes).

          I just used stock Dark Orange theme (or whatever it's called) to demonstrate that simply by virtue of having a better choice of colors one could have better looking graphs.

            Yeah, but I think it could be interesting to have something like this:

            chart, plot, graph, javascript, jquery, jqplot, charting, plotting, graphing

            but I guess that involves a lot more work... has anyone done anything like that? (replace Zabbix graphs with another one?)

                does anyone know how to edit the default graphs style ? - the simple line graph is not nice, the line is too narrow, how could I change it to be bolder and thicker.

                I know you can do it for custom graphs, but not for the defaults..
