I got request for a configuration where certain user group must be able to see and configure anly "their" host groups. i.e. group "Windows admins" must be able to view, change,configure and modify hosts , items and triggers only in the group "Windows servers".
I assigned a user to a group "windows admin", granted this group R/W access to the "Windows servers" group.
Then I added a user to "Zabbix administrators" group and , granted this group R/W access to a "Windows servers" group.
Now the user is a member of two groups "Windows admin" and "Zabbix administrator" , both groups have R/W access to a hostgroup "Windows servers"
User can access only windows servers as expected.
However I expected that configuration menu would be available for user, as he belongs to "Zabbix administrator" group also. This does not happen. Why?
( Zabbix version is 2.0.3 if this matters. )
