Web Scenario Template

I use Zabbix 1.8 and I have a lot of host, which should be checked. In every host I want only to check if required string is(the same in every hosts). Web scenario is great option for me, but I've red that there is no option to make web scenario in template in Zabbix 1.8. Is it true? If it's true, maybe exist option to make one trigger for a lot of web scenarios ? Or possibility to make one item in template for all web scenarios and make trigger to this item ?

PS. Is in Zabbix 2.0 option to make web scenario in template ?

I have the same need.

I'm following up dozens of application servers used as front end in a serverfarm.

One of the monitored parameter is a supervision page updated by the application and giving a status summary of the server at the application level. This page is followed-up by the load balancer which use it to determine if a server is available or not.

So, having web scenario in template would be a great improvment.
