help a new commer

Hi all
i'm news in this forum and also in linux enviroment , i trying an zabbix-2.0.3 on debian squeeze i install it ! the musql server is running and i try to add a host from the templete "windows , zabbix server , linux " to test and check if i can monitor them but after at last 10minutes nothing appeanning when i check the overview last data
i strongly need somme help

Is the zabbix_server running?
Did you open a port in your firewall?
did you install a client on the windows server with a config and a running service?

All of that is done, and those machine are already monitored by an another zabbix server-1.8 so i did notice on the agent a new link to the second zabbix server-2.0.3
but no data at all on the new zabbix_server

try telnet <clientip> 10050 on the server
and
on the client:
telnet <serverip> 10051


did you checkt the log file from the zabbix agent? can you post here wat is in it?
