Nested/Dependent tests

Is it possible to setup dependent tests in Zabbix?? There are a lot of different things I'd like to test on some of our servers but would like to have an overall keepalive test to prevent hundreds of alrets from being sent should a server go belly-up. Or is there a different way of doing this in Zabbix?

you can make triggers dependant, and if a trigger does not go off because its dependant is not matched then you wont get notified...
