Limit Characters Maps

Hello,

I need to add more than 255 characters, the label of my hosts and triggers in Maps.

Is there somewhere that I can increase this limit?

Hello,

I have a same problem with a label. I have modified the varchar to increase the value to 1024 in SQL database. But the modification have not impact I have same error message.

Could you help ?

Hello,

I have found the solution . For that, do :

1. Modify in structure database the size unit of type (varchar, int, etc...)
2. Modify the file schema.inc.php and find the correct line where is your type what you want to modify and save file.
3. maybe restart httpd deamon.

Well, i had a similar problem, i think.

this is about the triming of labels/text in maps my was

solved by change the 20 to 100 in line 1426 and 1427 on file '/usr/share/zabbix/include/items.inc.php'
