LMSensors on Debian 6

I have a doubt with lmsensors, read in another post that lm sensors only supported in kernel 2.4, now I have zabbix server running on debian 6 squeeze kernel 2.6
For work I have only lmsensors the server kernel 2.4 or also customers too?

you can use lmsensors for kernel 2.6 and >3.x too

I have kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64 in debian squeeze and lmsensor works perfectly.

Just to be correct, the lm-sensors package must be installed on the zabbix server and clients?
someone already checked if we can monitor the CPU temperature, motherboard and HDD with zabbix?

Yes, the lm-sensors package must be installed on clients and you need adapt output command (grep + awk).
You can monitor CPU, motherboard, HDD and exterior temperature if you host has sensors.

Can you show an example of the command you mention?
now add the following line to the agent:
UserParameter = sensor.temp1, sensors | grep 'temp1' | awk '{print $ 2 +0}'
UserParameter = sensor.temp2, sensors | grep 'temp2' | awk '{print $ 2 +0}'
UserParameter = sensor.temp3, sensors | grep "temp3" | awk '{print $ 2 +0}'

These parameters are correct?
