Specifically, we don't want an "acknowledgment" through the web interface to be essentially permanent. The commercial monitoring product we're abandoning allows a person that's acknowledging a problem to set a duration on the acknowledgement right from the web interface -- essentially "don't page me again for the next N minutes/hours/days".
Are there any plans to add such a feature to Zabbix? It's quite desirable for us, and based on the posts my search turned up in the forums, it looks like other sites want the same functionality.
Barring any plans, is there a way for us to script something, either through the API or by accessing the database, so that acknowledgement's can be timed out and triggers will again fire for the issue?
