triggers & mail notifications

zabbix 2.03
i have two problems:
1) zabbix send two or more the same messages about problem. i read this forum and can't understand what's wrong in my zabbix configuration.
2) when switch goes down, zabbix always send message to mailbox about problem. i can recieve 100+ mwssages that one of switches doesn't work now. How can i make if switch goes down, zabbix send to me only one message that a problem was happend and only one message if switch become in powerON state?

When you are creating the trigger, uncheck "Multiple PROBLEM events generation".

I was unchecked it, but zabbix still continues send me the same message twice

This is probably related to duplicate triggers sending multiple messages.

Go to your triggers and disable everything, then enable one trigger at a time. More than likely your host belongs to two separate groups and you have separate triggers for both groups to email you.

when trigger activated, at first time he send 2 same messages.. then he send about 4 messages at interval 5-10 minutes. Switch included only in one group (i called it "cisco catalyst"). Now zabbix monitoring 20 switches, every switch have 400-800 items (so many items because of discovery rule in my template that monitoring utilization, errors and etc on each port) and 100-200 triggers (it depends how many ports switch have, 24 or 48). I deleted all triggers from template, but it didn't helped
