    Have a good day!

    Well, I am from Venezuela, my english is not so good but i will try to explain mi problem.

    I need to make the monitoring of the printer HP, I used the triggers and templates HP but that only show the ink level.

    I need to check the status of the printer, when is on/off/paused/, I really need help brothers sisters, if you have the solution please answer me, I'll be extremely grateful to them.

    I assume that you're monitoring the printer through SNMP (which I've never done before), but I believe you could somewhat get what you want using the trigger "nodata" function. Here's an example:

    {Printer:ink[level].nodata(600)}=1

    Obviously this is psuedo-code, but the idea is that the alert will go off if Zabbix doesn't receive any ink level information for over 10 minutes. My assumption is that this alert would only go off if your printer is actually powered off.
