Zabbix not sending SMS

Hi.

I'm trying to configure sms alerts. I'm not receiving any alerts via SMS. When I look in the logs server are no references to GSM or SMS that I can see anywhere.

I'm running Zabbix server v2.0.0 .
I'm using a Nokia E93 via USU /dev/ttyACM0
I have configured Media :
Type: SMS
Device: /dev/ttyACM0
Enabled: yes

I have configured my user to use SMS media for alerts 24/7 and all severity .

So I'm a bit confused as to why this is not working or at least I'm not seeing something ins the logs.

Any ideas ?

Hi

I experienced the same issues one time with e-mail configuration.

You can check for errors in "Administration -> Audit" and selecting "Actions".

You will see if there any issues with not correct Media or User media assignment.

I see the cause:

"error in open(/dev/ttyACM0): [13] Permission denied"

Should be an easy fix.
