Link Speed Utilization

Zabbix 2.0.4
In a template i have a trigger "traffic" (IfOnOctets IfOutOctets), item gets correct values, but when speed more than some hundreds mbit/s, item show incorrect link speed. For exampe if speed 200 mbps, he really show to me 200 mbps, but if speed 1700 mbps, he shown to me only 450 mbps. What's wrong?

Hi

If you have 1Gbps and more ethernet interfaces you need to use the IfHCOnOctets and IfHCOutOctets which are as I remember 64 bit counters.

The IfOnOctets and IfOutOctets 32 bit counters are often got "overloaded" on high speed interfaces which can cause some kind abnormal sppeds.
