How to graph total interface bandwidth

Currently running 2.0.4 and I'm using the Template SNMP Interfaces that came with it. In that template it uses ifInOctets and ifOutOctets to graph incoming and outgoing traffic on an interface. This works great and all but how can I graph the total traffic on an interface which would be ifInOctets + ifOutOctets? I don't see in the graph were items can be added and I don't know of an oid that combines both of those items from the agent. Any help is appreciated!

      alternative

It won't give you the numbers, but if you just want a visual display, you could simply stack the two values. (Graph type "Stacked").
