    Hi!

    Try:

    zabbix:~ # zabbix_agentd -V
    Zabbix Agent (daemon) v2.0.4 (revision 31984) (08 December 2012)
    Compilation time: Dec 19 2012 15:21:44

You can also query the agent via zabbix itself, either using an item key of agent.version or by using zabbix_get:

      Code:
      # on your zabbix server
      sudo -u zabbix zabbix_get -s zabbix_client_name -p 10050 -k agent.version

In Zabbix 2.x, that item is also part of the Template App Zabbix Agent, which by default, is linked to all the OS Templates. So, if you look under Latest Data for any host, you should see the info under category of "Zabbix Agent".

It is also something that I include in my dynamic screen layout for all servers on all platforms.(Along with System Information). It ends up looking like this for all servers:

sudo dnf list --installed | grep zabbix
