SMS not sending Expected [+CMGS: ] received [ERROR]

Hi.
I'm using a Nokia E63 (bit of an overkill but its what the boss gave me for testing.)

I don't receive any alerts via SMS, when I check in Audit Actions I see
Expected [+CMGS: ] received [ERROR] and No media defined for user "Gregory Machin (greg.machin)" , when I check the user Gregory Machin , my mobile number is correct in my media settings.

I tried this:
AT+CMGF=1
OK
AT+CMGS="XXXXXXXX"
> bobtb
+CMGS: 1

OK

from one of the other posts to test if the E63 would send the sms and that worked.

What have I missed ?

I have the same issue in zabbix v3.2.4.
SMS notifications are enabled and configuration is correct. I can send SMS manually via minicom.

Anybody knows why zabbix is declining SMS as media type?
