Force update with active agent

How can I force an active agent to request a new set of items from the master? I want to do this when I add a new item and wish to check that it is working correctly without just waiting for a normal update.

You cannot force it but you can restart the agent or modify the agentd configuration:

### Option: RefreshActiveChecks
#	How often list of active checks is refreshed, in seconds.
#
# Mandatory: no
# Range: 60-3600
# Default:
# RefreshActiveChecks=120

The best that'll give you is 60 seconds.

I wasn't sure if restarting the agent would be enough. Doing that should be fine.
